Grüezi from Switzerland!

It is almost one year ago that I found myself in a less comfortable situation. My last employer in Germany had gone bankrupt and for this reason I was looking for a new challenge as an Anaesthetic Nurse. As I had been a member of the nursing magazine 'Die Schwester, der Pfleger' since 1985, my attention had already been drawn several times by the recruitment advertisements of Scholten Medical. The advertisements gained my attention, as they were not obtrude and offered me the possibility to apply freely for more information, without any obligations. That really attracted me.

The initial phone call with Scholten Medical felt at ease straight away, withing feeling any time pressure. The organisation listened carefully to assess my job wishes and screened my competences. At the same time I was informed directly on my personal job opportunities on the Siwss labour market. I felt welcome and well informed. After several conversations, a first selection of potential employers was made by Scholten Medical. That went sensational! I only had to make my wishes knowable regarding preferred region, hospital size, specialities, working hours, etc. Very quick afterwards, a first list of interesting vacancies was forwarded to me, as attractive as your most favourite dining menu ;-)!  After we mutually agreed on which employers to address, the first interview dates and trial days in Switzerland were scheduled. Scholten Medical knew exactly where I would feel at home. I felt welcome from the first second.

Thanks to the job interviews in Switzerland, I have been able to take my career to the next level, in spite of my age (I am already 53 years old). I have accepted a job as an Anaesthetic Nurse in a well known private hospital in Switzerland. For this I am Scholten Medical extremely grateful. From the first instance, the guidance was very clear and professional. The brochures were very informative. The payment of my insurances by Scholten Medical during the first three months, felt like a great gesture. Meanwhile, I have been working in my current position since 10 months now. I am more than happy in my job and in Switzerland. My Manager is a competent, understanding and fair Manager with a great heart. The Management of the Clinic stands behind ist staff.  Care in this hospital is very patient focused; a patient central approach is integrated in every handling and performed by all members of the team. Now that, you do not see very often any more in healthcare!!

It's time to finish my story. Warm regards from the Intercity train to Zurich.
